Wow, what markets eh? A strong US dollar is wreaking havoc on most markets. Oil and related investments are plummeting! What an environment where a stronger US dollar causes bad things to happen. I suspect we will see something to cause the US dollar to weaken soon. It has gone too far too fast! Look for some Fed announcement soon or another market mover to reverse the dollar.
I will cover these markets in the class, in this newsletter and on upcoming shows of course.
What to do? Hold your dividend payers. While the markets correct, you still get paid.
As mentioned in recent newsletters and shows: an orange tint had become apparent on the green light to buy stocks. My call to not put any new money in the market week’s back looks like a spot on call. This advice is still in play.
Gold and silver: This markets got clobbered which is why I said “start to add only”.
The bottom looks to be near (maybe!) but my call of gold $900 and silver $15 is still in play so go light on adding gold and silver investments at this time but consider still adding up to the recommended allocations per my usual advice.

Are we going to a cashless society? By the recent action in France one could argue that.
The French government will now limit cash transactions to $1000 Euros, that’s down from their previous limit of 3000 euros.
Why would a government do this?
They claim to limit drug laundering money and terrorist financing but do we really believe that?
The path is clear. Government wants to know where you get your money and where you spend it. As cash transactions are limited under the guise of get the bad guy the real victim is you and I.
By limiting and then possibly eliminating cash from society, there will be no place you can keep your financial affairs your own. Government will know every candy bar you buy, what flavor you like and where you buy it. Take it a step farther and they could gather information on your habits, your likes, your haunts and preferences.
They could take your money under any guise at any time. Your money would only be your own with their permission. Anger the wrong person or institution and they could essentially freeze your funds and thereby freeze your ability to obtain even the most basic of necessities.
The implications are frightening yet few realize it. After all, liberties are taken one piece at a time, bit by bit so you won’t complain, and then when they are all taken, you won’t be able to complain. The ramifications of such complaints could be dire because without the ability to procure the things you need you are powerless.
With electronic everything and everything tied together thru electronics, the governments of the world are slowly putting in place the systems to monitor everything, An Orwellian society where everything you do, everything you say, everywhere you go and everything you might buy is now under the watchful eye of central government.
That they don’t abuse that power is assumed, but should the wrong element, person or group come into power that does not believe in liberties and freedom, the systems will already be in place of total control of the society and all the people in it. A frightening thought to be sure.
